Hi, I have few small annoying questions.

Are you planning to distribute the IB before the competition or should we bring our own?
Do we need to mark black cells in puzzles like Yajilin, Doppelblock, Magnets, etc.?

Tawan:
5. Minesweepers Trench
Is it required to draw the path as well (I am asking because of its possible ambiguity)?

Serkan:
6. Tight Fit Killer Sudoku
As the basic rules are the same as in Tight Fit Sudoku, I suppose that it is required to insert smaller digit above the higher. Is it so?
11. Skyscrapers Either Or
May some of the clues indicate the number of skyscrapers AND the first visible building at the same time? Or only one information for each clue is valid?

Silke:
Hidoku
Will be the N given?

Fatih:
Make a Star Battle
Do we need to outline the regions? The instruction says so...

Lászlo:
Kakuro Special
There is no S* clue in the example, but I believe that the instruction says that S may serve as S or S*, but S* is always just S* and nothing else. Right?
MAximiZE!
Will be the author's maximum score given?

Pierre:
Masyu Sweeper
Do we need to mark all the circles? The instruction says so...

Anurag:
Fillomino with unique regions
Rotated regions are considered the same, right?
Pentomino Gates
"Two regions may touch only diagonally, so do the pentominoes" means that any two regions/pentominoes may touch only diagonally?

Alberto:
13. Atomic Attraction
Is it enough to draw some arrows indicating the moves? Will there be an empty grid available?

Thanks in advance

Dear Matus,

We will distribute a clean and full Instruction Booklet just before the competition (when you arrive).
You do not have to mark black cells in Yajilin, Doppelblock,Magnets. If everything else is filled correctly that is fine for us.

Minesweeper Trench: Yes, you have to draw the path, it will be unique.
Tight fit sudoku: Yes, it is required to write the smaller number to the top.
Skyscrapers: It can be valid as both information as well.

Hidoku: No, N will not be given
Make a star battle: Yes, you have to draw the regions.
Kakuro special: No, the S* means arithmetic sequence IN ORDER and S means arithmetic sequence NOT IN ORDER. If there is no letter clue than you can choose any of the three (Q,S or S*)
Maximize: No it will not be given (only after the round)

Masyu Sweeper: Yes, you have to mark all "mines"/circles

Filomino with unique regions: Rotated and reflected regions considered the same, yes.
Pentomino Gates: Yes, touch only diagonally for regions and for pentominos too.

Atomic attraction: Drawing arrows is not enough. There will be an empty grid available.
