Hello!

For Scrabble Kropki and Loop Kropki: Do word segments/ loop segments only end at the end of the word/straight line or do they also end at other white/black dots?
i.e. Does a word/ straight line in a loop with two kropki points in it consist of three segments or two segments for each loop?

Hi Moss, I am afraid that I do not understand your question.
But you always have to pass through the kropki circle. If there are two or more circles within one word, the whole word (not only the parts separated by circles) is counted.

Here is an example for 9-letter word. For this word it is possible to have from 0 to 4 kropki circles at once.
xxxBxxxxxx
xxxxxxBxxx
xxxxWxxxxx
xxxxxWxxxx

Outside Kropki
It should be noted somehow that "all possible dots are given". Also, an empty row/column is significant, right?

So that would mean
xxxxBxxBxxxx
would not be correct but
xxxxWxWxxxx
would be.

Is that correct?

Yes, this sentence is missing. All possible dots are given.

Just to be consistent during this round: For "Loop Kropki" the sentences

"There can be either black or white dot between 1 and 2."
and
"Not all possible dots have been given."

should be added.

Thank you for your advice. Here are the final instruction for the Loop Kropki:

11. – 12. LOOP KROPKI
Draw a single closed loop that travels horizontally and vertically through all white cells. The loop cannot touch or cross itself. The dots in the grid provide information about the lengths of loop segments (in number of cells). If there is a white dot between a pair of loop segments, then the difference of the lengths of these segments is exactly one. If there is a black dot between a pair of loop segments, then the quotient of the lengths of these segments is exactly two. There can be either black or white dot between loop segments of lengths 1 and 2. Not all possible dots have been given, but all the given dots must be part of the loop.
