Round 9 - Numbers

Puzzle 2) Star: There are 8 numbers between 499 and 506, but the instructions suggest there are two groups of 5 and perhaps a central field also. Can numbers be repeated, or will there be exactly 8 empty fields to fill?

Sorry, in this case the example is just illustrative, to show the actual layout of the puzzle would help you too much We will try to clarify it in next version of IB.

Puzzle 11-12: Mathrax

The rules state that the main diagonals should have distinct numbers, but this doesn't work for the example. If the rule applies for the competition puzzles, will the diagonals be marked?

Sorry the diagonal rule is not demonstrated in the example. In competition puzzles the diagonals will be marked.
